Warranty and Support
It's a big deal right? We're here for you when things go right, but in the event they don't, we're ready and Able to make it right. We're in the USA, with real, live experts on the phone, chat and email, 5 days a week. These are guys and girls that live and breath bikes.
Bicycle Warranty
All of our bicycle frames are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Paint & Graphics are covered by a 1 year warranty. Most components are covered by a 1 year warranty. Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Examples of wearing items include, but are not limited to: tires, tubes, chains, grips, cables and housing.
Accessory Warranty
All of our accessories are covered by a Lifetime Warranty. That right, forever. No fine print. As the first owner, you're covered for defects in materials or workmanship for as long as you own it. Oftentimes a photo of the item along with your sales receipt is all we need. Well drop a new one in the mail for current items, or a similar item of equal or greater value for legacy products.
Not Warranty
Unfortunately we're not Able to help you with every problem. If your friend borrows your Able pump and doesn't return it, well, that's not a warranty problem, that's a bad friend problem. If you accidentally back over your Able bike with your car, that is also not a warrantable issue. However, we will feel bad and might be Able to help you with a discount on a replacement. Reach out, tell us your story and if it's a good one we just might side with you anyway!
Abuse, misuse and neglect are also not covered by our warranty. You rode your bike into the ocean on a dare and now it doesn't work? Also, not warranty and not a good idea in general. Please keep your bike serviced, cleaned and oiled and it can give you many years of service.
How long does a Lifetime Warranty last? Well, glad you asked. It last as long as you, the first owner, own the product.
